MARITIMES & MAINE FM BROADCASTERS
This list is intended to show all FM broadcasters active in Maine, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick, as well as the Magdalen Islands.

Applications and approvals are also shown.

City may be City of Licence or city actually served. Suburban towns may be listed under the central city name, e.g. Dartmouth listed as Halifax, Brewer listed as Bangor, etc.

Stations are thought to be active unless indicated AP for Applied to CRTC or FCC, or CP (Construction Permit) indicating approved and permitted to commence but not yet on air.

This list is personalized to the author in that it also indicates stations logged by him in the Halifax area on his car radio. These stations are shown in red, and include some stations from outside the Maritimes and Maine region. Stations shown in green are from outside the Maritimes or Maine but have been logged by the author from Halifax (on the car radio unless noted otherwise)

In addition to loggings shown, an extraordinary distant reception event occurred in the late fall of 2009 when stations in Ontario, Ohio and Michigan were heard on the writers car radio while in the vicinity of the Musquodoboit Valley in Nova Scotia. As this was not in the vicinity of the home QTH these stations are not listed.

Areas: Halifax is Central NS including Truro and Windsor. F-SJ is Fredericton-Saint John, Moncton includes Amherst and Western PEI, CME is Central Maine, C-StS is Calais-St Stephen, SJRV is Saint John river valley (Woodstock and north), Portland is all of Southwest Maine, CB is Cape Breton, MI is Magdalen Islands, remainder are obvious.
