This was the former Maritimes Scanning Site
established in 2000. While I remain very interested
in radio communications in our region, I am
maintaining only a few specific pages on the site: Brief

Note regarding
public safety radio in Atlantic Canada: Almost all public
safety communications in Atlantic Canada are on a single 700
MHz trunked radio system. With rare exceptions
all such communications are encrypted and are not
"listenable" by the general public. For a basic
